March, 2010: We took to the water, this time halfway around the world to the Andaman Sea. Traveling through Hong Kong we reached our final destination in Southeast Asia: Phuket, Thailand. With nothing more than the verbal promise of “See you at the Quarterdeck,” we met up with our illustrious travel companions John & Linda at the Quarterdeck Restaurant and Bar in the Ao Po Grand Marina, and set sail on a Moorings 46-foot Power Catamaran. Phang Nga Bay is home to jellyfish and stunning vistas of tall islands reaching to the sky out of a deep aqua-marine blue sea.
